The Alexander Valley Healthcare (AVH) was recognized with a 2019 Quality Improvement Award by the U.S. Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). AVH received a Bronze Award representing the “best overall clinical performance” among the 1,273 health centers in the U.S.
“We’re very proud to receive the award which is a reflection of the quality, efficiency and value of the health care services we provide to our community,” said Deborah Howell, CEO of Alexander Valley Healthcare. “Our medical, behavioral health, and dental providers are constantly striving to improve patient care. In addition, our administrative staff works tirelessly to offer the highest quality customer service.”
HRSA presents the Quality Improvement Awards to recognize the highest performing health centers nationwide, as well as those health centers that have made significant quality improvement gains from the previous year. As part of the award, AVH received a grant of $60,994 from HRSA.
