Alexander Valley Healthcare’s mission is to provide patient-centered healthcare with excellence in quality, services and access for all.
Role of the Board of Directors
We are seeking individuals who represent the community we serve to join our Board of Directors. Our Board of Directors is charged with the oversight of the services we render. They are also charged with understanding and maintaining a financially healthy organization. Our funding comes from Federal, State, and local grants, as well a private gifts and donations. We ask our Board to become knowledgeable about our operations and performance by attending monthly Board meetings and participating in at least one Board Committee.
Your time commitment as a Board Member is not onerous, but your willingness to participate in meetings and read and ask questions about materials provided in advance of the meetings will help you feel engaged with other Board Members.
In exchange, you will have the chance to truly make a difference in our community. You will improve the services AVH provides by providing your patient experience or technical expertise. You will help change our community for the better.
